start working on the pattern...

Trying on some more traditional way of Nerikomi.

* 1ST, by simplify the colours, i start with 2 different greens and basic white clay, rolled to same thickness slabs which about 1/4"

* Cutting the slab into same size (1"*2") pieces

* Layer the pieces in designed order and pounding them together

* Slice the mixed clay chunk into suitable thickness which will fit my plate mould

* Press to the hump mould of my plate shape

Finished piece will be follow up...
